Jeff is a 30+ year veteran in the financial services industry since graduating from Northern Illinois University with a degree in finance. He has advised individuals, business owners and employees on a wide range of financial issues including: taxes, investments, IRAs and qualified retirement plans, employee benefits, college funding, and estate planning strategies. He also has his life and health insurance license and implements various life, health, annuity, and long-term care products for his clients.
Jeff obtained Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation in December of 1990, followed by his Certified Funds Specialist (CFS) designation in February of 1993. In order to become a Certified Financial Planner™ practitioner, Jeff passed the CFP® certification exam, a comprehensive two-day, 10-hour exam that sets the standard in the field of financial planning. CFP® practitioners are also required to meet financial planning experience requirements, sign an ethics agreement and satisfy ongoing education requirements to maintain certification. The Certified Funds Specialist program covers every aspect of investing mutual funds, closed-end funds and variable annuities in detail. As a CFS designate, Jeff utilizes sophisticated methods of evaluating and screening investments for a diversified portfolio to help meet each client's particular needs while retaining ethics and competence. This involves advanced statistical techniques of asset management known as Modern Portfolio Theory. The objective is to provide higher returns with lower risk.
Jeff is personally committed to his clients and strives to meet their individual needs with the highest level of integrity. By providing personalized and on-going attention to each client and their financial goals, Jeff provides a specialized approach to professional management. Dynamic investment strategies combined with personal attention means he works for his clients—not commissions.
Jeff lives in the area with his wife Tammi and their two children, Alexander and Bridget. He is active in the community—coaching his son's teams, helping at church and being part of the Cub Scout program. Jeff enjoys golfing and cycling.
